A young man has been shot down by security operatives during a protest in Sagamu area of Ogun State which saw a large crowd calling for an end to SARS in their neighbourhood.
The video below shows some women holding leaves and chanting “we don’t want SARS in our neighbourhood anymore”.
Also, some youths gathered in numbers to call for an end to the activities of SARS operatives in the neighbourhood.
This is all coming just days after a young football lost his life after he had an encounter with SARS in Sagamu while returning from training.
According to Remo FC which he played for, Tiamiyu Kazeem was stopped by the operatives while returning from training.
While he was being searched, the men pushed him against an oncoming vehicle which led to the loss of his life.
However, a statement by the Ogun State Police Command contradicts the football club’s statement. The police revealed that Kazeem was hit by a vehicle while fleeing from the SARS operatives.
